Before & after

Care that protects your result.

Beautiful, lasting permanent makeup is part artistry, part aftercare. Follow these and your results heal evenly and last longer. When in doubt, message the studio.

We review each case individually. Some situations require written clearance from your physician before booking — message us and we'll guide you.

Brows — Nano, Microblading & Combo

Before your appointment

  • 7 days before: don't wax or reshape the brows, and pause strong actives (peels, intense exfoliation, laser, retinol, high-dose vitamin C).
  • Keep skin hydrated but use no creams or exfoliants on the brow area. Tell us if the area tends to flare up or react easily.
  • 48 hours before: avoid anything that can cause bleeding or irritation.
  • 24 hours before: no facials, fillers, intense sun, sauna or steam. Arrive with clean brows — no makeup, oils or creams.
  • Skip your appointment if the area has any wound, irritation, burn or infection.

After your appointment

  • Days 1–3: gently wash with water and mild soap (don't rub), pat dry, and apply a thin layer of the aftercare balm every 2 hours.
  • Days 4–7: wash gently and apply balm twice daily. Never pick or remove the scabs.
  • For 10 days: no direct sun, steam or heat, and no makeup over the brows. Mild itching is normal — don't scratch.
  • For 7 days: no intense exercise, alcohol or smoking; avoid steam rooms and saunas.
  • For 30 days: protect from sun (SPF once healed) and avoid injectables or facials near the brows.
  • Normal healing: brows can look up to 40% darker and 15% thicker for the first few days. Final color and shape settle over weeks. Your touch-up is booked 4–6 weeks later.
  • By technique — Nano (machine strokes, all skin including oily): brows can look up to ~40% darker the first days; keep the aftercare balm thin.
  • By technique — Microblading (hand-drawn strokes, best on dry to normal skin): keep the area slightly drier; crisp strokes soften a little as they heal.
  • By technique — Combo (strokes plus shading): the shaded arch can look powdery and flake a bit more than pure strokes — this is normal.

Lip Blush

Before your appointment

  • 7 days before: exfoliate lips 2–3 times and hydrate daily (Vaseline/Aquaphor). If your lips are prone to flare-ups, ask your doctor about prevention before your appointment.
  • 48 hours before: no alcohol and no lip treatments (fillers, peels, laser).
  • 24 hours before: avoid blood-thinning pain relievers and supplements unless your doctor prescribed them — they can increase bruising. Don't smoke, or cut back.
  • Arrive with clean lips — no makeup or balm — and skip if there's any wound, crack or infection.

After your appointment

  • First 24–48 hours: keep lips clean and dry, apply balm several times a day, and don't touch with unwashed hands. No kissing, no hot drinks, alcohol, caffeine or smoking.
  • First week: don't pick the peeling or scabs, and keep makeup off the lips. No sun, sauna, steam or pool, and avoid spicy, salty or citrus foods.
  • Keep lips hydrated throughout. Healing: color looks intense at first, peels around days 3–5, then lightens and gradually reappears.
  • Final result shows at 4–6 weeks. Your touch-up is booked around day 35.
