Anyone's brows look crisp on day one. Ask to see healed results — 4 to 6 weeks out — and ideally on skin like yours. That's the honest picture of how the work ages.
2. Check real credentials
Training matters. Look for recognized certification — for example, PhiAcademy titles like Artist and Royal Artist, which require demonstrated skill in the technique. Credentials aren't everything, but they tell you the artist invested in mastering the craft.
3. Make sure the technique fits your skin
A great artist will tell you honestly which technique suits you — and when one doesn't. If someone recommends microblading for oily skin without hesitation, keep looking. (Nano Brows are the better match for oily skin.)
4. Hygiene and the consultation
The studio should be clean and private, single-use needles standard, and you should never feel rushed. A real consultation maps your design to your face and you approve it before any pigment.
