A few good questions, asked before you book, save you from the wrong service. Here are the five that matter most — and why.
1. "Is microblading right for my skin type?"
This is the big one. Microblading shines on dry to normal skin and tends to blur on oily skin. A good artist will say so — and point you to Nano Brows if that's the better fit. If the answer is "it works for everyone," be cautious.
2. "Can I see healed results — ideally on skin like mine?"
Fresh photos look flawless on anyone. Healed photos at 4–6 weeks tell the truth about how the work ages.
3. "What are your credentials?"
Look for recognized training — for example, PhiAcademy Artist and Royal Artist titles. It signals an artist who invested in mastering the technique.
4. "What does healing and aftercare involve?"
You should hear about flaking, no picking, sun and sweat for the first week or two, and your true color at 4–6 weeks. Clarity here means experience.
5. "Is a touch-up included, and when?"
Touch-ups are usually booked separately (often at 4–6 weeks or later). Knowing the timing and cost up front keeps everything transparent.
Bonus sign of a great artist: they welcome these questions. At Nazora Studio, we'd always rather have the honest conversation first.
